COAL-SOUTH AFRICA South Africa is the 5th largest COAL producing country in the WORLD - Japan imports >100mt of COAL per annum; the vast majority from SA. Richards Bay, the largest industrial terminal port in Africa, can export up to 91mt per annum, at present there is >31% excess capacity available from Richards Bay. On current survey, South Africa has >75-years available capacity on current operational mines.

South Africa: A Grade, RB1, RB2 and lower GCV Coal as well. America: high grade Coke (Metallurgical), high GCV Steam Grade Coal; Indonesia: GCV 3500 to GCV 6500 through our own allocations.; Australia: Thermal Coal of different grades and qualities from GCV 3500 to GCV 6700.
COMMERCIAL Coal is a traded commodity - and is linked to international trade indices. AFRICA-ASIA COMMODITIES as a result of our established relationships and business integrity, we are able to secure best price, fixed cost, high-volume, long term contracts that are both favourable to the BUYER and SELLER.
AFRICA-ASIA COMMODITIES has agreements in place with seller mandates of all national and internationally recognised mine houses operating in South Africa, and in some instances from Zimbabwe for Metallurgical coal. |
